Transit

FreeTransit offers non-commercial transit under AS41051. You need publicly routable IPv6 or IPv4 space and a public ASN assigned by an IANA-accredited RIR.

Sponsorship

If you do not have resources yet, Openfactory can sponsor ASN and IPv6 resources through the RIPE process.

Review

Requests are reviewed manually. Transit service is for personal, educational, research, and enthusiast networks unless Openfactory explicitly approves another use. Commercial organisations are welcome to request RIPE sponsorship.

Sponsorship pricing

Last pricing update: 2024-05-31. Prices are per sponsored object. Yearly fees are charged in Q1. Sponsoring LIR transfers for ASN and PI objects have a EUR 30 per-object surcharge. PA cannot be transferred.

New IPv4 PI sponsorship is only available for IXP LAN assignments. Existing IPv4 PI can only be handled as a sponsoring LIR transfer. Regular new IPv4 PI space is not available.
